Excel Technology Europe GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Excel Technology Inc., a publicly traded company (USA NASDAQ “XLTC”). Excel Technology Europe was formed in Germany in 1973 as Quantronix GmbH. Since 1992, the company has been the European headquarters of Excel Technology, Inc. responsible for the distribution of Excel Technology’s manufacturing subsidiaries laser products which includes Quantronix, Synrad, and Continuum. Having direct offices in Germany, France and Italy the Company markets and distributes its products either through distributors or direct personnel.

The Company’s primary competences are sales, marketing, applications, installation and service for the industrial and scientifi market. In addition, we offer system integration support, optical components and customization of laser systems. A state of the art applications development laboratory is available for customers to conduct feasibility studies on laser material processing. In addition, we have Demonstration and Customization Laboratories for system developments and customer training.
